Oh wow! It does not take much to bring a smile to my face. I was taking Piper for one of his many nightly walks and saw a tiny little firefly! I have not seem them since I was a little kid. We used to catch them in those cheap plastic bug catchers. L

Whew! Finally sat down and did the closing on Friday. Could not believe it. It was down to the wire. We really did not know until about 30 minutes before closing if we going to make the deadline or not. But it is all done and over with. YIPPIEE!!! W

Well, made my flight to Tucson. Will be flying there on the 25th of June. That allows me to pick up our truck and other stuff we left there when we moved to Germany. Not looking forward to that long drive back. 19+ hours. I am hoping I will not have

Here is a link to the mansion that is directly across the street from where I am staying. The cottage I am staying in is also owned by Tom and Chris. I recommend staying at this B & B. You will find no finer southern hospitality if you stayed anywher

Well, we made it through the storm. We had a awesome storm come through here lunch time on Friday. Winds up to 80 mph. Lots of damage around here. Chris's school lost its roof and had about $20,000 worth of damage done. Power was out everywhere. Roof
